2 months agoI ordered chicken taco dinner. They had no rice for the dinner and this is the third time in a row that I’ve been there and they don’t have any rice. The chicken was overcooked and dry. By far the worst chicken tacos I have ever had and the price was outrageous. $17 Way overpriced terrible food.

a year agoWe have been customers here for 20 plus years and tonight our order was wrong. The owner refused to accommodate us. So we ended up paying for food we didn’t even receive. We will NEVER return.

a year agoI went in and said "can I get a gyro fries?" and they literally asked me "what size drink do you want?" which made me think it comes with the gyro fries I just ordered because I never asked for a drink just gyro fries. I got upset when I found out I was charged $2 for the small drink, it seems every time I get home with the food I've ordered here I'm upset that they didn't give me what I ordered or charged me for something I didn't ask for. I've gone here a few times but never again because there is always some issue with my order or charges. I never have these problems at other places. You definitely need to ask for a receipt when you order here and ask what is included or not.

3 years agoGood variety of Greek-Mexican-American fast food. Fries could be better (get rid of the green ones). Prices very reasonable, though. Bathroom not available.

Edited 3 years agoThis restaurant mixes both Traditional Mexican items and Chicago Foods, that include Chicago Style Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Italian Beef, and Gyros. Both food types are equally tasty and delicious. Their meal deals are fairly priced and filling, keeping both your wallet and tummy happy.

Edited 10 months agoIf you're a Gyro Plate person don't waste your money here. Just go to Highland Gyros and be done with it. At least you won't get a happy meal portion of fries, you'll get more quality and quantity of meat. And on top of that a large cup of soup. This place has raised prices but also lowered quantity and the same time which is uncalled for

4 years agoI been going to this place for over 25 years...great gyros and tacos(get gyro plate u can eat 2 or 3x)...my daughter and best friend love the burritos tho. Always friendly and fast service. I call 10 min ahead and my order is always ready when they say. Fries are delicious. The hot dogs are not something u should get from here. Buns are often hard n just not good hot dogs. Pizza puffs are fire too.

8 years agook ok.. so its a typical maxwell st. chicago type place so assume the setting is “meh” at best but the food is bomb gyro, italian beef, hot dogs... get it yo
